Tissue Repair + Growth-Factor Signaling

A recent experimental study titled “Effects of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field on Oral Mucosal Wound Healing” provides an interesting example of PEMF influencing repair biology.

PEMF-treated groups showed significantly improved wound-healing measures, including enhanced epithelialization and granulation tissue formation. Researchers also found increased expression of growth factors and lower inflammatory-cell infiltration.

This study provides evidence that PEMF can interact with biological pathways associated with tissue repair.

PEMF Supports Tissue-Repair Pathways
Experimental research indicates PEMF can influence growth-factor expression, inflammatory activity and biological processes involved in tissue repair.
